Photographic Imagination

Here are a few of the photos that I’ve been taking over the past few weeks. I try to be as imaginative as I can with my photography, and have a lot of fun experimenting with things that go beyond the ordinary and challenge my ability and imagination. Here’s what I’ve come up with for now, I hope you enjoy! Please leave your feedback.

This one is from Tofino, just in front of our campsite. Dusk has always been my favourite time of day, there is something so soothing and calm about it, especially on the water. Click on the images to enlarge.

This is one that I shot with my macro lens on Lasqueti Island.

Vafa Anderson and I did quite a bit of experimentation with light painting over the last couple weeks, here is one of the earlier ones.

I took this at the inner harbour in victoria. It’s about 5 photos stitched together, and then some photoshoping to get what you see now. Click to enlarge!

Levitation is possible!

Vafa and I were trying to create an image of “a beacon of light against the gloom” and this is what we came up with. The outline is done with light painting, and the yellow fill light in the editing room.
