Retina Salad – New Film Complilation

Note: I built a rig from jag35 gear as you can see in the thumbnail to this post. I only used the monitor for the closing shot in this montage, however, and am packing it up to return. I liked the picture though! The contrast on the monitor was so inaccurate that it was like shooting blind, and the T2i drops the video quality down to 480p when you hit record. I’m going to stick to the internal camera screen for now, until I upgrade and the technology advances in affordable indie film gear. Other than that I’ve been happy with my rig from jag 35, still building though!

I’ve been having fun experimenting with camera work, playing with focus, and attempting to capture and interpret the beauty of our universe. Learning to use the camera.

The opening grass shots or from Sointula on Malcom Island.
The lights on the water are in Port McNeil.
The blue flowing water is from just outside of Tahsis.
The macro flower shots of from my Glenora.
The closing shot is from the back of Mt. Tzouhalem.

Shot on the Canon T2i with a Sigma 30 mm f/1.4 prime, a Canon EF 75-300 mm, and a Canon EF 100 mm f/2.8 Macro lens.

Please watch in 720p full screen!
